My Road to Creativity Growing up, my mother would have friends over one evening every week for craft night. They referred to themselves as the "stitch & bitch" club. Each week one of the ladies would have a craft item planned to make and give the instructions. They all worked so well together and you can see they were having a great time. I think that's where my love of creating came from. It can be lots of fun, it can be calming, and it can be challenging. But what's life without a little bit of a challenge? Through my journey, I've discovered that finding bountiful sea glass in Maine can be difficult. The pieces I find are cherished. While I use some of my findings in my creations, I also use my handmade, tumbled sea glass. I recycle unwanted glass that people discard and create smooth beautiful pieces of glass. While this can be a tedious venture, I love doing it and improve my technique with each batch. Additionally, I'm always thinking of ways my actions can help our Earth. Reduce-Reuse-Recycle means a lot to me and I try to use that idea while creating. I hope you enjoy browsing through the shop.
